Green Buying Limited is a joint venture company established by equity partners Buying Support Agency Ltd and WSP Environmental Ltd. Each company brings different skills to develop in Green Buying Ltd a knowledge portal for organisations seeking ways to green up their supply chains.

Buying Support Agency Ltd: Established in 2002, the BSA advises both public and private sectors in best practice procurement. It specialises in supplier partnerships, tender and contract management, as well as undertaking purchasing health checks and training programmes.

Matt Roper (Founder)
Matt has been delivering best practice Purchasing consultancy services since 2002 across a range of government and private sector organisations. As head of Green Buying, he is now overseeing the development of sustainable procurement consultancy and training services.
David Brown
David Brown currently works for WSP Environmental in the Corporate Services team and has worked with a range of clients including Nationwide, Clifford Chance and Envirowise. Previously David worked for the Welsh Assembly Government where he was a member of the Greening Operations Group. David is member of the Institute for Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) and is an IEMA approved internal environmental auditor.
David is committed to developing new management strategies in purchasing goods and services that are environmentally and socially responsible. He has assisted clients in a number of areas including developing sustainable procurement strategies, product risk assessment and managing the supply chain.
Catherine Lafarge
Catherine’s background includes many senior purchasing and marketing positions in retail and manufacturing industry throughout the world.
As a procurement specialist consultant, she is also experienced in developing and installing change management programmes across a variety of small, medium and blue chip companies. Recently she has been a coach as well as a lecturer in business schools in France.
Alex Steele
Alex is a specialist in environmental management, corporate social responsibility and sustainable development. Alex is the Director for a wide range of environmental business support programmes, which aim to provide advice and training to organisations, in areas including resource efficiency, waste minimisation, environmental management systems, ISO14001, EMAS, energy efficiency, sustainable transport, life cycle analysis, environmental impact assessment, sustainability appraisal, strategic environmental assessment, carbon management, and environmental policy and legislation.
